Job Description
Job Title: Electrician
We required this position for our group company VILAS transcore Limited Ganapatpura(Karjan ) 20 KMS from Vadodara Vilas Transcore specializes in the manufacturing and supply of components for power distribution and transmission sector
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in electrical systems
Relevant certifications as required by local or national authorities (e.g. Journeyman Electrician license)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Skills:
Installation and maintenance of electrical systems
Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
Familiarity with electrical storage tanks and large rotating equipment
Physical stamina and dexterity
Responsibilities:
Install and maintain electrical wiring fixtures and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions and blackouts
Conduct inspections to identify hazards and defects
Replace old wiring and perform maintenance tasks to prevent system
breakdowns
Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations
Perform diagnostic tests and repairs using specialized tools and equipment
Maintain accurate records of all work performed
Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and maintenance staff
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient electrical operations
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair needs
