Job Description

The PMD Electrician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of electrical systems equipment and machinery across the facility.
This role ensures that all electrical equipment functions safely and efficiently reducing downtime and maintaining production quality.
The PMD Electrician will also work closely with other maintenance and engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Requirements

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems motors control panels and wiring to ensure optimal performance and reduce breakdowns.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues in equipment such as motors switches relays and PLCs; perform repairs or replacements as needed.

Electrical Inspections: Inspect electrical systems and equipment regularly to identify potential problems and perform necessary corrective actions to avoid unexpected failures.

Equipment Installation: Assist in the installation setup and calibration of new electrical equipment and machinery in alignment with operational requirements.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inspections; update logs and create reports for management as required.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock of electrical supplies and components and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.

Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to electrical safety standards and protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical maintenance engineering and production teams to support operational needs and minimize downtime.
