- The PMD Electrician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of electrical systems equipment and machinery across the facility.
- This role ensures that all electrical equipment functions safely and efficiently reducing downtime and maintaining production quality.
- The PMD Electrician will also work closely with other maintenance and engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems motors control panels and wiring to ensure optimal performance and reduce breakdowns.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues in equipment such as motors switches relays and PLCs; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
Electrical Inspections: Inspect electrical systems and equipment regularly to identify potential problems and perform necessary corrective actions to avoid unexpected failures.
Equipment Installation: Assist in the installation setup and calibration of new electrical equipment and machinery in alignment with operational requirements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inspections; update logs and create reports for management as required.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock of electrical supplies and components and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.
Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to electrical safety standards and protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical maintenance engineering and production teams to support operational needs and minimize downtime.
