Overview
The Denodo Developer role at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is crucial for organizations looking to enhance their data management capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement data virtualization solutions using the Denodo platform.
- Create and maintain data integration processes for various data sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance tuning and efficient data access.
- Perform ETL processes to transform and load data into the Denodo environment.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Develop documentation for data integration processes and technical specifications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in data virtualization solutions.
- Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with data analysts to ensure they can access and analyze data seamlessly.
- Collaborate with data architects to design scalable data solutions.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning.
- Stay updated with the latest Denodo features and best practices.
- Provide training and support to team members on Denodo functionalities.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing improvements to data management practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a Denodo Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of data virtualization concepts and architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Knowledge of data integration methodologies and techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud data solutions and technologies.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization in Denodo.
- Willingness to continuously update skills and learn new technologies.
