Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Product Owner & Project Manager to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. This role requires excellent problemsolving skills the ability to navigate tough situations and strong project management capabilities. As a Product Owner you will be responsible for defining product requirements and ensuring their successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog.
- Create clear and actionable user stories acceptance criteria and specifications.
- Serve as the voice of the customer ensuring that the product meets their needs.
- Project Management:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate across teams to ensure project deliverables are on track.
- Identify risks and devise mitigation strategies to overcome constraints.
- Drive projects to successful completion within scope budget and timeline.
- Problem Solving & Leadership:
- Proactively identify roadblocks and implement solutions in challenging situations.
- Effectively navigate around organizational or project constraints to achieve objectives.
- Foster collaboration and maintain clear communication across crossfunctional teams.
- Demonstrate leadership in driving projects and products towards success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience in a Product Owner Project Manager or similar role in a software services environment.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Proven ability to manage tough situations with composure and effectiveness.
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g. Azure Devops JIRA).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and drive alignment across teams.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical acumen to collaborate with development teams effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing projects with distributed or remote teams.
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence MS Project or similar.
- Certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
