Overview
The Mern Developer plays a crucial role in our organization by developing highperforming and scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB Express.js React.js and Node.js). With six years of experience the developer will be expected to design implement and maintain robust web applications that meet user needs and drive business objectives. The candidate will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements troubleshoot issues and deliver seamless user experiences.
In this fastpaced environment in Gurgaon the Mern Developer must stay updated with industry trends best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve the development process. This position not only requires technical proficiency but also strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders. As a key member of our development team the Mern Developer contributes significantly to the success of various projects ensuring high standards of code quality and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create seamless user interfaces.
- Implement responsive design to ensure applications work on various devices.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of applications.
- Integrate thirdparty APIs and services.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Work closely with backend developers to enhance the application.
- Conduct performance testing and optimization.
- Manage application deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver projects on time.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Document technical specifications and application designs.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Assist in gathering requirements and identifying project scope.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 6 years of experience in web development specifically with the MERN stack.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proven experience with React.js and its core principles.
- Solid understanding of Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
- Experience with MongoDB and database management.
- Familiarity with RESTful services and APIs.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with software development methodologies like Agile.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and changing environment.
- Experience in performance testing and optimization techniques.
- Understanding of cloud hosting and CI/CD processes is a plus.
- Portfolio or examples of past web applications is highly desirable.
