Position : Winding Supervisor Transformer Industry
LOCATION : Atlas Transformer India Limited
Qualifications : Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering .
The Winding Supervisor in the transformer industry is responsible for overseeing and managing the winding operations in the manufacturing or maintenance of transformers. The role ensures the efficient accurate and safe winding of coils for transformers ensuring they meet all quality and performance standards. The Winding Supervisor will lead a team of technicians ensure the correct winding techniques are applied monitor machine performance and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the winding operations ensuring that the process is carried out efficiently safely and in compliance with company standards.
- Supervise guide and train winding operators and technicians on proper winding techniques equipment usage and safety protocols.
- Monitor and manage the daytoday activities of the winding department ensuring deadlines and production targets are met.
- Assign tasks to team members and ensure their work is properly executed according to sche
- Coordinate with the production manager and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely production of transformer windings.
- Inspect raw materials such as copper wire insulation and other components to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Set up and calibrate winding machines for the accurate production of transformer windings.
- Ensure winding processes follow industry standards and meet customer requirements in terms of design and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to winding machines or processes.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure all windings are of high quality free from defects and meet design specifications.
- Inspect the finished windings to ensure that they meet dimensional and electrical test requirements.
- Ensure all winding activities are documented and reports are generated for quality assurance.
- Enforce safety protocols in the winding area ensuring the team adheres to workplace safety standards.
- Conduct safety training and workshops for new and existing employees.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and health and safety standards.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials (e.g. oils chemicals etc.).
- Monitor the performance of winding machines and equipment.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department for more complex equipment repairs and servicing.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities winding processes and any issues encountered during production.
- Prepare daily weekly or monthly reports on production progress machine status and team performance.
