Job Summary:
We are looking for a Production Supervisor with experience in Idiyappam production to oversee daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have handson experience in food production ensuring quality control efficient workflow and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the Idiyappam production process ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Oversee daily production schedules and allocate tasks to workers.
- Ensure that all safety hygiene and food quality guidelines are strictly followed.
- Monitor raw material usage and coordinate with the procurement team to maintain stock levels.
- Train and guide production staff on best practices hygiene and machine operation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of production waste and efficiency reports.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure product consistency and adherence to industry standards.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of production equipment.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- 1 to 2 years in a food production unit (Idiyappam experience is mandatory).
- Diploma / ITI / Any relevant qualification in food processing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Idiyappam manufacturing techniques and equipment.
- Ability to manage a team and handle production workflow efficiently.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Problemsolving skills to troubleshoot machinery and process issues.
- Good communication and leadership skills to guide production workers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
