The Operation Theatre Technician Faculty plays a vital role in healthcare education specifically in training the next generation of operation theatre technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curricula for operation theatre technician programs.
- Provide handson training and supervision in simulation labs and clinical environments.
- Assess students knowledge through exams projects and practical evaluations.
- Assist in recruiting and training new faculty members.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge on current practices and technologies in the field.
- Collaborate with hospitals to facilitate student clinical placements.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress providing feedback and guidance.

- Maintain accurate records of student performance and faculty activities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Allied Health Nursing or a related field.
- Active certification as an operation theatre technician or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of experience in operation theatre support roles.
- Prior teaching experience in a clinical or academic setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and technologies.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students and staff.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Knowledge of current accrediting bodies and educational regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
- Experience with student assessment and evaluation methods.
- Proficient in using educational technology and teaching tools.
