Overview
The Base24 position is integral to the financial services sector primarily focusing on transaction processing and payment systems. This role significantly contributes to maintaining and enhancing electronic payment infrastructure that facilitates secure efficient and reliable transactions. Base24 professionals are critical in ensuring that the systems perform optimally safeguarding against errors and addressing any issues that arise during transaction processing. Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain Base24 applications and services.
- Ensure the integrity and security of transaction processing.
- Monitor system performance and optimize processes for efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Implement software fixes and enhancements based on user feedback.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise.
- Create and maintain system documentation and manuals.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for endusers.
- Coordinate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure compatibility.
- Participate in project planning and status meetings.
- Assist in the migration of legacy systems to Base24 platforms.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience working with Base24 systems.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C C or Java.
- Understanding of payment processing and electronic funds transfer (EFT).
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with database management systems like Oracle or SQL Server.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security measures.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Certifications related to payment processing or IT security are advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and evolving industry standards.
- Effective time management skills.
