Overview
The Salesforce Developer plays a critical role in the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions within the organization. This role is vital for leveraging the Salesforce platform to enhance business processes improve customer relationships and support overall organizational objectives. As a Salesforce Developer you will be responsible for customizing and developing applications that meet the company s specific needs streamlining operations and ensuring user adoption and satisfaction. Collaborating with various stakeholders including project managers business analysts and endusers you will translate requirements into technical specifications and provide ongoing support and enhancements to the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate should possess indepth knowledge of Salesforces features and capabilities excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to deliver highquality solutions on time. Your contributions will significantly impact the organization s ability to utilize CRM tools effectively and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement Salesforcebased solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
- Customizing Salesforce applications using Apex Visualforce and Lightning components.
- Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce implementations.
- Integrate Salesforce with external applications and services using APIs.
- Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce systems.
- Develop and implement Salesforce data models relationships and workflows.
- Perform unit testing and debugging on Salesforce applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce solutions.
- Conduct training sessions for endusers and stakeholders.
- Participate in agile sprints and contribute to project planning activities.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure solutions meet quality standards and requirements.
- Monitor Salesforce platform usage and performance metrics.
- Stay uptodate with Salesforce releases and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and optimization for Salesforce environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Salesforce Developer certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in Salesforce development (3 years).
- Extensive knowledge of Apex Visualforce and Lightning technologies.
- Experience with Salesforce integration tools and APIs.
- Experience in data modeling and database design.
- Strong understanding of CRM concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies and platforms.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Knowledge of Salesforce security and sharing rules.
- Experience in delivering user training and support.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
