Job Description

Overview
The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our company in Mumbai. This position is integral to identifying new market opportunities building relationships with potential clients and establishing a strong brand presence in the competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will possess both strategic and tactical experience in business development demonstrating a deep understanding of our industry and a passion for achieving sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the region.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Present business proposals to potential clients to close sales.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure favorable terms.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess performance and adjust strategies.
  • Identify and attend industry events networking opportunities and conferences.
  • Work closely with product development teams to align offerings with market needs.
  • Manage the business development pipeline and track progress effectively.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on business development activities to senior management.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in business development initiatives.
  • Enhance the organization s reputation by promoting its services and products.
  • Facilitate internal communications to ensure everyone is aligned with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of business development processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Familiarity with the Mumbai market and local business landscape.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate within teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Preferred experience in technology or consultancy sectors.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
