Responsibilities
- Quality Inspection: Inspect jewelry products focusing primarily on silver pieces to assess quality against established standards.
- Defect Identification: Identify and document defects or irregularities in materials or workmanship ensuring a high standard of product quality.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of quality assessments for each jewelry piece documenting findings and actions taken.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to implement refinements and enhancements based on quality assessments and feedback.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends techniques and standards to contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of various jewelry categories with a focus on silver jewelry to enhance quality control processes.
- Compliance Verification: Ensure all products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations for silver jewelry.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: 35 years of quality control experience in the jewelry industry specifically focusing on silver jewelry.
- Trustworthiness: Proven track record of integrity and reliability with the ability to handle valuable products responsibly.
- FastPaced Environment: Experience working in fastpaced environments preferably within startups or similar dynamic settings.
- Jewelry Quality Standards: Strong understanding of jewelry quality standards and regulations particularly for silver pieces.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and meticulous inspection skills ensuring thorough quality assessments.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and communicate effectively to address quality issues.
- Commitment to Quality: Unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in every jewelry piece produced.
- Mechanical Process Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical processes involved in jewelry production and finishing.
