Job Summary
Lumenci is a legal tech startup founded by group of IIT alumni in US. Lumenci s mission is to transform the legal and intellectual property industry in US & Europe with groundbreaking products and services. We are currently looking to build an exceptionally strong technical team in Gurgaon India to help us deliver high quality products and services to our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide technology consulting services to law firms and corporates.
- Ability to perform Landscape searches including identifying trends and preparing graphical insights from raw data; FTO/Clearance search and providing technical opinion; Patentability/Novelty/State of Art searches and Invalidity/Validity searches including providing comments and summarizing the search conclusion.
- Patent searching and analysis in Chemistry and help solve clients core technical queries.
- Ability to modify and improvise searching according to the lead/project manager s input.
- Screening patents smartly and efficiently from a large dataset on the basis of Claims Title Abstract.
- Creating research strategies to best utilize time and resources when executed.
- Assist in assessing potential patent infringements by analyzing chemical compounds formulations and processes.
- Identify and analyze relevant patents and technical literature to map the patent landscape in various chemistryrelated sectors.
- Draft detailed technical reports summarizing patent search findings and provide recommendations based on the analysis.
- Execute work in patent databases such as Orbit PatBase etc.
- Explain complex technology matters to nontechnical audiences.
- Showcase technology and IP thought leadership via blogs and research reports.
- Collaborate across the organization inperson and with virtual global teams.
- Establish and cultivate relationships internally and externally.
Expected Competencies and Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding of chemical principles and the ability to apply them in patent analysis.
- Proficiency in patent search tools and databases (e.g. Orbit PatBase)
- Strong understanding of organic inorganic and physical chemistry.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret complex chemical patents technical documents and literature.
- Expert level Proficiency in technical research.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good in managing client expectations.
- Customeroriented approach.
- Problemsolving aptitude.
- Ability to think critically learn fast and work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
Education and Experience
- B.Sc./ M.Sc./ PhD in Chemistry or related fields from premier colleges such as IITs BITS and NITs.
- 02 years of experience in chemistryrelated research industry or consulting.
