Job Title: Store Manager Apparel Brand
Location: Bangalore & Chennai
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Store Manager with over 3 years of experience in managing retail operations preferably in the apparel sector. The ideal candidate should be capable of overseeing the daytoday functioning of the store leading the team towards achieving sales targets and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role demands an individual who is resultoriented a strong leader and an excellent communicator.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
Target Achievement: The Store Manager will be responsible for setting and achieving daily weekly and monthly sales targets for the store. This includes strategizing to maximize sales implementing promotional activities and ensuring that the store meets and exceeds its goals.
Sales Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales reports to assess performance and implement corrective actions if necessary. Use KPIs and sales metrics to optimize strategies that will drive performance.
Team Leadership:
Team Management: Lead mentor and motivate a team of sales associates and assistant store managers to perform at their best. Ensure that team members understand their roles and responsibilities and encourage a positive proactive attitude toward achieving the store s objectives.
Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions to improve team skills in customer service sales techniques and product knowledge. Ensure all team members are wellversed with the brand store policies and visual merchandising standards.
Staff Scheduling: Oversee staff scheduling to ensure the store is adequately staffed during peak hours and that the team is working efficiently to achieve targets.
Customer Service:
Customer Experience: Create an exceptional instore experience by maintaining high levels of customer service. Ensure that the store environment is welcoming and that team members are engaging with customers to help them find what they need.
Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner. Focus on building longterm relationships with customers by delivering excellent service and ensuring their needs are met.
Operations Management:
Store Operations: Oversee all store operations including inventory management visual merchandising and stock replenishment. Ensure that the store is consistently wellorganized and visually appealing to attract customers.
Inventory Control: Work closely with the warehouse and procurement team to ensure the store has adequate stock levels. Minimize stock discrepancies through regular audits and inventory checks.
Compliance: Ensure that the store complies with all company policies procedures and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and secure environment for both customers and employees.
Business Acumen:
Market Awareness: Keep up to date with fashion trends local market trends and competitors activities to stay ahead in the industry. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and adapt the store s strategies accordingly.
Budget Management: Assist in managing store budgets optimizing operational costs and ensuring profitability. Control operational expenses while maintaining highquality standards instore.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management preferably in an apparel brand.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving operational efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in using retail software and familiarity with POS systems.
