Objectives of the role
At BIOTEK our highperforming sales team is the engine that drives customer
satisfaction. To achieve the same on a zonal level we are on the lookout for a Zonal
Sales Manager. The main focus of the ZSM would be to guide the regional teams to
establish maintain & strengthen the relations with various doctors and distributors
by :
Strategize for the achievement of regional sales target through the zonal
team by break down of annual targets to half yearly / quarterly / monthly.
Continuously monitoring the achievement of targets by regional manager
area manager and their respective team.
Ensure satisfactory resolution of client queries and concerns in timely
manner.
Communicate product schemes and offers to the regional managers and
ensures their implementation.
Achieve inventory planning and control in such a manner that the stock are
sufficient for immediate order fulfilment as well ensuring that the do not get
technologically redundant or noncompetitive in the market.
Coordinating with marketing team for the organization of seminars meets
and conferences on zonal level
Suggesting appropriate measures to reduce the cost in promotional activity
expense as and when possible
Ensuring to maintenance of NORMS AND STANDARD OF COMPANY
POLICIES
Increase morale in his team during meeting and in batch wise sessions
and maintain discipline and decorum in his team
Planning and structuring the business and team travel
Increase the morale of people to take new responsibilities and develop new
mangers in his team
Keep the HO in discussion and aptly informed about the participation in
state and national conferences.
Validate feedback and data which is collected by regional sales manager
from his team
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Lead Area wise sales team members and guide them achieve sales targets.
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in
assigned customer accounts.
Negotiate and close agreements with Corporate Hospitals.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements to the
respective team member to improve as and when required.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual sales forecasts alongside the Zonal /
Chief Sales Officer.
Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market
opportunities.
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client(s) needs.
Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure
brand consistency.
Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are
on board.
Required skills and qualifications
A vast management experience with medical devices sales & business
development about 15 years
Experience and knowledge of Orthopaedic devices ideally with its own
network within the field
Degreelevel education or equivalent in a relevant field
Outstanding communication negotiation and presentation skills
Ability and willingness to travel as and when required
