Position Title: Senior Manager Information Technology and Systems
Industry: Engineering Projects and Construction (EPC) in Solar Power
Role Overview:
The Senior Manager in charge of Information Technology and Systems will oversee the strategic direction implementation and governance of IT and systems within the company. This role is crucial for ensuring that the companys technology infrastructure supports its business objectives and enhances its capabilities in the solar power sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic IT Planning:
Develop and recommend IT strategies that align with the company s overall business goals and objectives particularly in the context of EPC and solar power projects.
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the solar power sector to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
2. Governance and Compliance:
Ensure that IT practices and systems comply with relevant laws regulations and industry standards.
Oversee the implementation of robust IT governance frameworks to manage risks and ensure data security and privacy.
3. Technology Oversight:
Provide strategic oversight for the development implementation and maintenance of IT systems including project management software ERP systems and data management tools.
Assess and recommend technology investments that will enhance operational efficiency and project execution in the EPC domain.
4. Cybersecurity:
Oversee the establishment of comprehensive cybersecurity measures to protect the company s information assets from threats and breaches.
Ensure that the company has effective incident response and disaster recovery plans in place.
5. Budget and Resource Management:
Seek approval and monitor the IT budget ensuring that expenditures align with the strategic priorities of the company.
Oversee the allocation of IT resources and ensure that the technology infrastructure is scalable and costeffective.
6. Innovation and Digital Transformation:
Foster a culture of innovation within the IT department to drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
Evaluate and support the integration of new technologies that can optimize engineering processes project management and client interactions.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other senior executives to integrate IT strategies with overall business strategies.
Facilitate communication between the IT department and other departments to ensure alignment and address any technologyrelated issues promptly.
8. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of IT systems and projects.
Report on IT performance project status and technology trends to the board providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
9. Vendor and Contract Management:
Oversee relationships with IT vendors and service providers ensuring that contracts are managed effectively and that service levels meet the company s requirements.
Evaluate and recommend major IT contracts and service agreements for approval.
10. Talent Management:
Support the development and retention of IT talent within the organization.
Ensure that the IT team has the necessary skills and resources to meet the company s technology needs and strategic goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT leadership roles ideally within the EPC or solar power sector.
Strong understanding of IT governance cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
Excellent strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in managing IT budgets and overseeing technology projects.
Knowledge of industryspecific IT needs and regulatory requirements.

Reports to: Director in charge of IT
Liaises with: CEO CFO COO IT Department and other relevant stakeholders
