Position Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Job Objective
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible to lead and scale our presence in the handicraft sector. The COO will drive growth and efficiency across procurement sales warehousing logistics digital marketing and marketplace expansion on platforms like Amazon Flipkart and others. This role is ideal for a resultsoriented leader who understands the nuances of the ecommerce handicraft sectors or related fields with a focus on establishing a streamlined growthoriented operating model.
Primary responsibilities
1) Strategic Growth & Scaling: a) Develop and execute longterm business strategies to achieve sustained growth both nationally and internationally. b) Identify and evaluate new market opportunities including potential partnerships new ecommerce platforms and geographical regions. c) Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure alignment on companywide objectives and ensure resources are effectively allocated to growth initiatives. d) Drive continuous innovation in product offerings and business processes to stay ahead of market trends.
2) Procurement & Vendor Management: a) Oversee the full procurement lifecycle from identifying suppliers to finalizing contracts and ensuring timely delivery of highquality items. b) Ensure the company s procurement practices align with sustainability and ethical sourcing guidelines. c) Regularly assess supplier performance negotiate better pricing and contract terms and ensure vendors meet quality and delivery expectations. d) Manage supplier risk by identifying alternative sources and contingency plans in case of supply chain disruptions.
3) Warehouse & Inventory Management: a) Oversee all aspects of warehouse management including the organization storage and movement of inventory. b) Ensure that inventory systems are streamlined and efficient with accurate tracking of product stock levels and location. c) Analyse sales trends and adjust inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking or understocking. d) Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and timely product availability.
4) Logistics & Supply Chain Optimization: a) Lead logistics strategies including selecting and managing thirdparty logistics (3PL) partners to ensure the timely costeffective movement of goods. b) Design and implement supply chain optimization strategies including reducing lead times and minimizing transportation costs. c) Develop a robust tracking system for all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure transparency and accountability. d) Address any logistics challenges and inefficiencies such as delayed shipments or inventory shortages by implementing corrective actions.
5) Marketplace Management (Amazon Flipkart etc.): a) Manage and optimize product listings on major ecommerce platforms (Amazon Flipkart etc.) to ensure maximum visibility and sales. b) Develop and execute promotional strategies including discounts deals and campaigns to boost sales. c) Monitor platform performance and customer feedback to adjust listings improve reviews and ensure optimal product positioning. d) Analyse customer behaviour and market trends to adjust product offerings pricing and promotional strategies.
7) Customer Experience & Support: a) Design and implement customer service processes that ensure customer satisfaction from prepurchase to postpurchase. b) Provide leadership for the customer support team ensuring they have the resources and training to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently. c) Monitor customer service KPIs including response time resolution time and overall satisfaction and drive improvements. d) Foster a customerfirst culture encouraging crossdepartmental collaboration to resolve issues promptly.
8) CrossFunctional Leadership & Team Building: a) Lead and mentor department heads to ensure alignment with the overall vision and growth strategy of the company. b) Foster a collaborative transparent and resultsdriven culture across all teams including marketing logistics procurement and customer service. c) Develop training programs and performance reviews to help staff reach their full potential and align with company goals. d) Oversee the recruitment of key talent to ensure the organization s skill set matches the demands of scaling operations. e) Establish clear communication channels to ensure departments are working together effectively toward shared goals.

9. Customer Complaints (Logistics): Reduce customer complaints related to shipping or delivery by 2025%. 10. Social Media Engagement: Increase social media followers by 25% and maintain an engagement rate of 10%.
