Job Description
- Develop and document highlevel architecture for complex IT systems.
- Create architectural blueprints and roadmap documents to guide the development process.
- Define and enforce best practices in architecture coding and software design.
- Collaborate with business leaders project managers and developers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Manage crossfunctional project planning and execution ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Serve as the main point of contact between business units and development teams providing technical guidance and oversight.
- Evaluate new technologies frameworks and tools to support innovation and improve performance.
- Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems.
- Guide technology selection to ensure compatibility with longterm organizational goals.
- Define technical standards and ensure adherence across development teams.
- Ensure solutions are compliant with industry standards and regulations particularly around data security and privacy.
- Conduct regular security assessments and enforce security best practices.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks on deployed systems.
- Identify and resolve architectural and technical issues as they arise.
- Optimize applications for speed scalability and reliability.
- Mentor and guide development teams on technical practices and architectural principles.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect TOGAF etc.) are a plus.
- Minimum of 58 years of experience in software engineering including at least 3 years in a technical architect or similar role.
- Experience with Agile: Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in software development languages (e.g. Java Python .NET) and modern frameworks (e.g. Angular React JS Node JS or similar).
- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns such as microservices serverless and eventdriven architecture.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to quickly identify root causes.
