As Communications and Fundraising Manager you will help build Parinaam s public recognition and profile. You will help identify and work with organizations to fund Parinaam and its work as well as help Parinaam to develop its donor base.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing and maintaining Institutional partnerships
Work with Parinaam s Program Directors and Executive Director to roll out the fundraising strategy and develop new relationships with and manage existing relationships with corporate government bilateral and multilateral agencies foundations and Trusts.
This includes:
Identify and prioritize institutional donors whom Parinaam can proactively approach
Work with the relevant program units to identify suitable and strategic programs or groups of projects to offer potential donors.
Directly developing funding proposals.
Manage all aspects of agreements including clarifying reporting requirements and timeframes and submission of payment requests.
Coordinate with the relevant teams for developing and presenting reports and periodical updates to donors.
Initiate and develop relationships with new institutional donors to secure longterm funding for Parinaam s programs.
Develop and maintain the funding database.
Supporting the development of an individual donor base
- Activate and maintain online donation and fundraising campaigns with the support of communications and program teams.
- Support and roll out fundraising events
Communications
- Design and drive implementation for the annual communications plan and budget as well as brandbuilding initiatives for Parinaam
- Planned developed and supported the dissemination of communication and marketing resources ensuring that Parinaam s vision mission program objectives etc were accurately and consistently communicated across stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain Parinaam s digital and online media presence developing and curating content where necessary.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Desired Qualification
- Masters in Social Sciences/Mass Communications/Business Administration
Desired Experience
- Around 35 years of relevant experience in fundraising and/or communications
- Prior experience in leading a national/multistate level NGO in a fundraising/communications/brandbuilding role will be preferred.
- A track record of providing strong strategic and operational leadership in the Fundraising and Communications space.
- A track record of writing and obtaining grants from Funding agencies and under CSR as well as other fundraising techniques for offline and online fundraising
- Strong track record of managing the funds of donors and grantmakers with proper reporting structures
- Strong track record of success in leading and managing Communications function
- Experience in influencing senior internal and external stakeholders and communicating with diverse audiences
