Experience 10 years of core exp. in business development franchise management real estate or network expansion preferably in the petroleum or retail sector


Position Overview:
The State Business Development Manager is responsible for leading business growth within the designated state by driving network expansion franchise development real estate operations and strategic partnerships within the petroleum sector. This role requires a strong focus on market research relationship building and expanding the brand s presence in key locations.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities partnerships and market trends in the petroleum sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand business operations within the state.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including potential franchisees real estate developers and partners.
  • Actively explore new regions and untapped markets for network expansion.

Network Expansion:
  • Lead the identification evaluation and acquisition of new sites for business expansion including retail and distribution points.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and local market conditions for expansion projects.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to develop feasibility studies cost estimations and financial models for new sites.

Franchise Development:
  • Oversee the franchise development process including scouting negotiating and finalizing franchise agreements.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to franchisees to ensure consistent brand standards and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular audits of franchise operations to ensure compliance with company policies.

Real Estate Management:
  • Negotiate and manage commercial real estate transactions including leasing and property acquisitions.
  • Maintain an understanding of local real estate trends and property valuations.
  • Collaborate with legal and financial teams to finalize real estate agreements and ensure profitability.

Petroleum Sector Operations:
  • Keep up to date with industry trends regulations and competitive landscape in the petroleum sector.
  • Develop strategies to maximize operational efficiency and profitability in petroleumrelated projects.
  • Ensure that all petroleum distribution and retail operations are carried out in line with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct regular market research to understand competitor activities and consumer needs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving market positioning and service offerings.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics to track success and areas for improvement.

Skill:
  • 10 years of experience in business development franchise management real estate or network expansion preferably in the petroleum or retail sector.
  • Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of the petroleum industry and market trends.
  • Proven track record in project management and strategic business growth.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and market data.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Successful identification and acquisition of new business locations.
  • Growth in the franchise network and real estate portfolio.
  • Achievement of revenue and profitability targets within the state.
  • Maintenance of strong relationships with franchisees stakeholders and partners.
  • Timely and effective execution of expansion and development projects.
