Within the HR Operations team based in Pune the HR Specialist is a role which incorporates both analytical and operational activities supporting the busy integral HR team across
This role provides HR support on global projects and programs and full lifecycle HR activities
The purpose of this role is to ensure the HR team is equipped with the data and insights to make sound people related decisions helping to provide and enabling an employeeoriented; highperformance culture that emphasizes empowerment quality productivity and standards; goal attainment and ongoing development of the workforce.
This is an individual contributor role with no staff responsibility covering a range of HR tasks from basic administration to HR analytics across a geographic footprint of 25 countries (mainly in Europe plus North America and India).
The HR Specialist will interact with other HR team members and directly with employees as well as Talent Acquisition Payroll and Finance teams .
This role reports to the HR Manager India
Principal Responsibilities
- Overtime Management Reporting working with the HBRP for Engineering produce monthly overtime report (process and reporting is already in place) to show total cost and time spent on overtime. Work with HR Managers to produce communications to employees to confirm their overtime usage to date (for Health & Safety purposes)
- Adhoc People Operations Initiatives support on key projects which drive the performance of and efficiency of HR
- Recognition Program manage the data regarding nominations for recognition awards and record/ track data appropriately in HRIS
- People & Culture Intranet site working with HR Team keep the P&C Intranet site up to date to ensure it is a valuable resource for employees.
- Employee relations : Offer letter Onboarding / Administration ;Background screening HR Technology Induction ; Probation period management ; Notice period management Voluntary termination Offboarding / Admin Create / update benefits settings in Bamboo
- Oversee Employees benefits day to day management : Meal vouchers State Benefits and Non state Health benefit enrolment Non state Pension benefit enrolment Other Local benefits
- Payroll Monthly control: Help and manage payroll for some countries.
- Recruitment: Partner with the Talent Acquisition Director and Local HR manager to support them in the process.
- Trainings : Training enrolments Implement and track training & development plans in partnership with local HR Managers
- Compliance with internal process : ensure PO and invoices are processes accurately. Ensure pay benefits are processed accurately and in timely manners.
- Benefit Administration
- Work with Total Reward Director to create a centralized view of Benefits across and provide data analytics to determine usage rates value for money and great employee experience.
- Conduct audits and reviews of total rewards programs to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Support the management of vendor relationships and negotiations for benefit programs.
- Support the management of benefits provider relationships and negotiations for benefit programs.
Skills
- Analytical capability: expertise in manipulating data (reporting from HRIS using excel etc..) producing insights for decision making.
- Some operational/ HR analytical experience supporting either People Operations or Total Reward.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver presentations to all levels of the organization
- Microsoft Suite knowledge
- Fluent in English any additional languages is a plus.
