Job Description
Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in
Leicester.
The role is based on a Pepsico site in Leicester and will involve customer deliveries around the UK and Interdepot movements. Backhaul collections and deliveries for other areas of the ESL business. You will mostly be using curtains siders delivering to Stores and may involve some manual handling.
Shifts:
- WednesdaySunday Nights 14:00pm16:00pm.
- ThursdayMonday Days 09:00am11:00am.
Salary:
- MonFri Days 14.50 per hour
- MonFri Night Shift 15.90 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift 18.00 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Night Shift 18.50 per hour
- Bank Holidays 18.81 per hour.
Qualifications :
- You will need a minimum of Three months HGV Class 1 experience within the UK.
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/CE Licence DCPC & Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions
- Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
- Should comply with onsite health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
