Role background
Wolt is a Helsinkibased technology company that provides an online platform for consumers merchants and couriers. It connects people looking to order food and other goods with people interested in selling and delivering them. To enable this Wolt develops a wide range of technologies from local logistics to retail software and financial solutions as well as operating its own grocery stores under the Wolt Market brand. Wolts products include Wolt (subscription service for customers) Wolt for Work (meal benefits and office deliveries for companies) Wolt Drive (fast lastmile deliveries for merchants) and Wolt SelfDelivery (service for merchant partners with their own delivery staff). Wolts mission is to make cities better by empowering and growing local communities. Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022. DoorDash operates in 29 countries today 25 of which are with the Wolt product and brand.
The role you are looking at is a part of Wolt Market our very own grocery stores that deliver unprecedented convenience and worldleading customer experience. People across Serbia can order their groceries and have them delivered to their doorstep at lightspeed! With Wolt Market our focus is to find the right products by being customeroriented offer the fastest delivery available and be the company that changes the future of grocery shopping. This role plays a key part in our growth in Serbia.
In this role youll find yourself in a challenging but wellsupported position. You have a strong influence on how your city operations will look like. You will build your team by hiring the right people that support the highgrowth environment design every little detail in your store and define the perfect layout for Wolt Market. What youll be doing
Being responsible for the daytoday store operations including staying on top of freshness inventory and stock management.
Developing and improving the way our stores operate.
Lead and motivate a team of around 10 Grocery Associates. Create an environment where your colleagues can do their best work.
Managing shift scheduling.
Handling orders and order of the store.
Qualifications :
You have previous leadership experience.
A fast learner with the ability to multitask.
Proactive and serviceminded are words that describe you.
You have a can doattitude and enjoy the idea of working in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment.
You are tech savvy.
Datadriven and analytical you use data to help improve and develop.
Experience from working in a grocery store is a plus.
Fluent level of Serbian and English
