Position Summary:
The Specialised ICT Support Specialist will provide tailored ICT services and solutions to address unique and adhoc requirements as determined by the CETA. This role involves responding to specialized ICT needs troubleshooting complex issues and delivering innovative solutions to support the organization s objectives efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. AdHoc ICT Support:
- Provide specialized ICT support on an "as and when required" basis to meet emerging needs and challenges.
- Address ICTrelated requests not covered by standard operational areas ensuring seamless support and resolution.
2. Custom Solutions Development:
- Analyze unique requirements and develop tailored ICT solutions to meet CETAspecific objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver fitforpurpose ICT interventions.
3. Complex Issue Resolution:
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical problems across the organization s ICT systems ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Identify root causes of issues and implement longterm solutions to prevent recurrence.
4. ICT Strategy Alignment:
- Align specialized ICT support activities with the organizations broader ICT strategy and objectives.
- Ensure that any additional ICT requirements are integrated seamlessly into the existing infrastructure and frameworks.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver specialized ICT services.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to management on specialized ICT needs and emerging technologies.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within the ICT ecosystem and propose innovative solutions.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in ICT to support the delivery of cuttingedge solutions.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a specialized ICT support role. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex ICT issues. Experience in developing and delivering tailored ICT solutions for diverse organizational needs. Key Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple ad-hoc requests effectively.
Education
Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
