Job Description
- Influencing organisational culture by championing sustainability driving innovation and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source local seasonal organic and sustainably produced ingredients.
- Establish guidelines for ethical procurement reducing the carbon footprint of food and material supply chains.
- Provide sustainability training to kitchen staff and frontline employees.
- Ensure compliance with local regional and international sustainability regulations and certifications.
- Track and report on sustainability performance metrics highlighting successes and areas for improvement
Qualifications :
- Deep knowledge of sustainability principles especially within food systems and catering.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in sustainability reporting tools and frameworks.
- Creative problemsolving skills and ability to innovate ecofriendly solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Sustainability Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum 24 years of experience in catering hospitality or sustainability roles.
- Proven track record of implementing sustainability programs in food service or related industries.
