Position: MRI Supervisor
Location: Temple TX
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM

Job Summary: As an MRI Supervisor you will oversee the delivery and quality of MRI services within the department. This role includes managing staffing levels maintaining equipment ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and performing MRI procedures as necessary. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and extensive experience in MRI technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the MRI department ensuring efficient and effective delivery of imaging services.
- Perform advanced imaging procedures adhering to strict protocols and safety standards.
- Supervise and evaluate the MRI staff including conducting performance reviews and facilitating professional development.
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies.
- Manage departmental budgeting and resource allocation effectively.
- Maintain a high level of patient care and satisfaction through timely service and communication.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance department operations and patient safety.
- Act as a liaison between the MRI department and other medical departments fostering cooperative relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience with supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in one or more modalities (MRI preferred).
- General computer proficiency including EMR Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
