Job Description
Position Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Fairbanks AK
Employment Type: FullTime
Shift Information:
- Schedule: 4x10hour shifts Days
- Weekend Requirement: Yes; rotating call
- Oncall Requirement: Required
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
Start Date: ASAP (onboarding process takes approximately 58 weeks)
Compensation:
- Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: $28.47 $44.49 per hour based on experience

Job Description:
As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) you will play a critical role in supporting surgical procedures by selecting and placing surgical instruments supplies and equipment. Your responsibilities will include scrubbing in for surgeries providing instruments sutures and other sterile supplies during procedures and participating in the training and orientation of new surgical technology staff and students. Proficiency in scrubbing for at least two surgical specialties is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room (OR) setting.
- Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology is highly preferred.
