Job Description
Job Title: Xray Tech
Facility: St. Marys General Hospital
Address: 350 Boulevard Passaic NJ 07055 United States
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $48/hr on W2
Perform diagnostic Xray procedures following physician orders while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment properly position patients for imaging and adjust technical parameters to obtain highquality images. Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure. Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Responsibilities:- Perform Xray examinations as prescribed by physicians.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and adjust equipment settings for optimal image quality.
- Adhere to radiation protection guidelines for patients staff and self.
- Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings and provide imaging support.
- ARRT certification.
- Active state Xray Technician license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques safety protocols and imaging equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
