Job Description
Position Title: Certified Hand Therapist
Location: Grand Junction Colorado
Job Type: FullTime
Pay Range: $48.00 $55.20 per hour (based on education and experience)
Work Schedule: FullTime
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct patient care services for patients of all ages ensuring that individual patient needs are met.
- Perform patient evaluations and assessments to develop and implement a customized plan of care.
- Monitor and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure the achievement of patient goals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and selfcare.
- Produce highquality documentation in a timely manner adhering to professional association and regulatory guidelines.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Communicate effectively with physicians staff and hospital leadership.
- Understand and manage treatment costs budgeting staffing billing/coding and procedural planning tasks for quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program.
- Licensure:
- Current unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Colorado OR
- Current unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Colorado.
- Certification: Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) certification and recertification every 5 years.
- Other: Current BCLS certification.
