Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Largo Florida
Shift: Variable
Shifts Per Week: 4
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Duration: 10 hours
Hourly Rate: $30.34 to $42.47 depending on experience and qualifications
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist (Cat Scan Technologist) to join our team. In this role you will perform highquality CT imaging procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort. As a vital member of the healthcare team you will collaborate with physicians and colleagues to provide diagnostic imaging that supports the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will also be responsible for preparing and positioning patients operating CT equipment and communicating findings with healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and obtain highquality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare and position patients and equipment following established procedures to ensure safety and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with patients physicians and healthcare teams regarding imaging results and patient history.
- Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide seamless patient care.
- Participate in oncall coverage as required.
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) required.
- Minimum of 13 years of imaging experience preferably in an acutecare hospital setting.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong customer service skills critical thinking and decisive judgment.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to stand bend reach kneel and lift patients or equipment up to 50 lbs.
