Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Pocatello Idaho
Shift: Variable Shifts
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week 4 shifts per week
Shift Duration: 10 hour
Hourly Rate: $35.23/hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing highquality images while ensuring safety measures are applied to both radiation exposure and patient care. This position offers a dynamic work environment with variable shift opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect patient data and document procedures accurately.
- Perform routine and special radiographic procedures ensuring quality imaging.
- Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures following safety and procedural protocols.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives within the department to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Certification:
- Certification and current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Candidates who are registryeligible must obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within six months of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Must attend a 6 lead EKG course within six months of hire.
