Primary Responsibilities of an Ultrasound Technologist
- Perform highquality ultrasound examinations ensuring precision and adherence to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Document and report findings accurately ensuring compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
- Educate and prepare patients for procedures ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications for a Successful Ultrasound Technologist
- Associates degree in Ultrasound Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. AHA ACLS or AHA BLS
- 2 years of experience in performing ultrasound examinations in a clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to function effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nights 12Hour Shifts 0.75 FTE: 60 Hours Per Pay Period
