Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Charleston South Carolina
Shift Type: Day
Shift Time: Friday Sunday 9:00 AM 9:30 PM
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Rate: $36.41 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform CT diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist and contribute to the patient care process by utilizing their expertise in diagnostic imaging scheduling transporting and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate diagnostic CT equipment verify images and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that highquality CT scans are performed to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Perform CT exams on various body parts efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Complete appropriate history forms and technologist exam sheets.
- Start I.V.s and check labs as required for the procedure.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology and CT Technologist is highly preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
