Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Temple TX
Shift: Variable
Shifts Per Week: 4
Scheduled Hours: 40
Shift Duration: 10 Hours
Hourly Rate: $25 to $36
Job Overview:
You will perform highquality radiologic procedures and ensure accurate diagnostic imaging for patients. This float position provides a great opportunity to gain diverse experience across different units and schedules with flexible shifts available. You will work in a fastpaced environment ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform highquality radiology procedures as per exam protocol ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients explaining the procedure and addressing concerns.
- Accurately position patients and equipment for procedures adjusting immobilization devices and setting exposure factors.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment adhering to safety requirements infectioncontrol protocols and radiation policies.
- Assist with maintaining the quality of imaging equipment ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Keep accurate and timely imaging records in the medical system.
- Perform all tasks independently without the need for routine oversight.
- Assist in managing supplies and maintaining an organized work area.
- Act as a preceptor providing training to new team members and guiding them in new services and initiatives.
- Participate in call rotations as required.
