Salary Range:$95000 to $115000 annually depending on experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager of Critical Care Services to lead our cardiovascular and progressive care units. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring highquality patientcentered care through the efficient management of daily operations staff coordination and compliance with healthcare standards. You will oversee both the CVICU and PCU guiding a dedicated team to deliver excellent care while fostering a culture of accountability teamwork and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the 12bed CVICU and 12bed PCU/Telemetry units
- Ensure highquality patient care by monitoring nursing practices and holding staff accountable for clinical outcomes
- Support staff in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations policies and accreditation standards
- Facilitate interdisciplinary care coordination and ensure appropriate clinical competencies in the unit
- Manage staffing schedules productivity and unit throughput including admissions and discharges
- Lead efforts to enhance patient satisfaction and employee engagement within the units
- Manage department budgets equipment maintenance and supply utilization to achieve cost efficiencies
- Serve as a mentor and leader fostering a supportive environment for both staff and patients
Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of recent acute care CVICU leadership experience required (Manager Supervisor or Charge/ANM experience preferred)
- Strongly prefer candidates with 35 years of stafflevel CVICU experience in addition to leadership experience
- CVICU experience required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of start
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of start
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of start
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 60 months of start
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma required
- Active RN or APRN licensure
