Job Description
Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Grand Rapids MI
Certification: CRCST required within 120 days of hire
Experience: Preferred
Pay Rate: $19.80/hour increasing to $21.00/hour upon positive 120day evaluation and CRCST certification
Note: Candidates with 2 years of SPD Tech Surgical Tech Anesthesia Tech or OR Support experience will be eligible for a pay rate above the stated base rate.
COVID Vaccination: Required
Hours: Varying daily hours oncall rotation required

Key Responsibilities:
- Integral part of the OR/SPD team ensuring smooth execution of surgical procedures.
- Maintain strict sterile practices to ensure patient safety and efficient procedural operations.
- Manage and maintain the readiness of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver exceptional support and service.
- Handle cleaning disinfection and maintenance of surgical instruments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED required; further technical training or education preferred.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital for oncall duties.
- Flexible availability for varied shifts including rotational weekend calls.
- Strong leadership communication and teamwork skills.
