Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team and support one of our valued clients. In this role you will play a critical part in enhancing the clients cybersecurity posture by designing implementing and maintaining robust security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement cybersecurity strategies: Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and best practices across the organization.
- Cloud Security Architecture: Design implement and maintain secure cloud environments (Azure AWS).
- Threat Detection and Response: Monitor and analyze security logs identify and respond to security threats and conduct incident response activities.
- Security Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Security Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior security engineers on best practices and emerging threats.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support for all cybersecurityrelated matters.
- Stay Current: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and best practices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams (IT operations etc.) to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- 10 years of experience in IT or equivalent experience with a strong expertise of Microsoft AD and cloud technologies.
- Handson experience with PowerShell and Python.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) including security services.
- Experience with designing configuring and supporting SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) environments.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
