Position Overview
As a Fabrication Specialist your primary responsibility will be MIG welding metal parts and assemblies to meet detailed specifications. This handson role emphasizes quality craftsmanship precision and adherence to safety standards. While other fabrication equipment may support your tasks MIG welding will remain the central focus of your work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components with precision and consistency.
- Fabricate and assemble parts based on technical drawings and detailed specifications.
- Inspect and measure completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Optionally assist with operating press brakes laser cutters or turret presses as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean organized workspace.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong expertise in MIG welding techniques and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Commitment to delivering highquality welds and assemblies.
- Familiarity with basic metal fabrication tools and equipment.

- Welding certifications focused on MIG processes (AWS or equivalent).
