Job Title: Payroll Specialist/ Payroll Lead
Location: Vasai East Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:
1) Payroll processing:
Collecting calculating and inputting payroll data for all employees. This may include ensuring the accuracy of employee payroll information and monitoring the processing of staff appointments transfers promotions and terminations.

2) Payroll compliance:
Ensuring compliance with all applicable payroll laws regulations and internal policies. This may include understanding new legislation that impacts payroll.

3) Payroll procedures:
Developing and implementing payroll procedures processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy. This may include reviewing payroll policies and amending procedures when required.

4) Payroll documentation:
Coordinating developing and maintaining written documentation regarding payroll procedures and processes. This may include preparing payrollrelated documents and organizing current employee data systems.

5) Payroll reports:
Arranging weekly monthly quarterly and yearend reports including tax reports and W2s.

6) Payroll team:
Training and supervising payroll team members ensuring they are knowledgeable about payroll processes and procedures. They may also act as the point of contact for any escalated payroll queries.

7) Other tasks:
Collaborating with HR finance and other departments to gather and validate payroll information. This may include monitoring and resolving payroll discrepancies investigating and resolving issues promptly and accurately.
