Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Design and Planning: Develop detailed civil engineering designs for residential projects including site layouts drainage systems road access and utility systems.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines and budgets ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local state and federal regulations including zoning laws building codes and environmental guidelines.
- Site Evaluation: Conduct site assessments to analyze soil conditions topographical data and environmental impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects urban planners and contractors to coordinate project specifications and address any design challenges.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare reports specifications and construction documents for client and regulatory review.
- Client Engagement: Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure construction work meets engineering standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Experience: 35 years of relevant experience in residential construction or civil engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D and other modeling tools).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles residential construction techniques and project management practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
