Job Description
- Data Protection & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with GDPR data protection laws and related global regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for AI/GenAI systems.
- Design and implement data governance strategies for AIdriven workflows.
- AI/GenAI Regulation Expertise:
- Guide the development and deployment of AI systems in accordance with the EU AI Act and other emerging regulations.
- Monitor legislative changes impacting AI providing proactive insights and updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate ethical considerations into system design (e.g. bias detection transparency).
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data privacy algorithmic bias and transparency in AI systems.
- Develop incident response plans for AIrelated data breaches or compliance violations.
- Policy Development & Training:
- Draft and maintain policies governing data protection and ethical AI usage.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on GDPR data privacy and AI governance.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with legal IT AI/ML and compliance teams to ensure unified approaches to data protection and AI governance.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
- Mandatory:
- Strong knowledge of GDPR data protection laws and privacy frameworks (e.g. ISO 27701).
- Practical experience with AI/ML systems and related ethical concerns (bias explainability data usage).
- Familiarity with the EU AI Act and its implications for developing and deploying AI systems.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Understanding of AI technologies like machine learning natural language processing and generative AI (GenAI).
- Experience with data protection tools and technologies (e.g. encryption pseudonymization).
- Other Skills:
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to balance regulatory compliance with business innovation.
- Experience conducting DPIAs and risk assessments for AI projects.
