Job Description
Our client requires the services of a Software Engineer (Advanced) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

EXPERIENCE: 46 Years related working experience
COMMENCEMENT: January 2025
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications/years of experience
- SAP Certifications in ABAP and SAPUI5/Fiori will be advantageous
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- SAP ABAP (with strong debugging and analysis skills)
- SAP OData services
- SAP IDocs
- Creation and maintenance of interfaces into and out of SAP system using multiple communication technologies (e.g. RFC HTTPS SOAP)
- SAP S/4 HANA experience
- SAP UI5/FIORI development experience
- Ability to balance operational tickets with new developments
- Ability to interpret and deliver on business requirements
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- Familiar with Agile working
- SAP solution architecture experience
- SAP FI or Costing Experience
- Ticket handling / SLA
- SAP roles / authorizations
- Experience with technical integration tools
- Strong interpersonal communication & presentation skills
- Selfmotivated and keen attention to detail/time management (working on multiple projects)
- Knowledge of Confluence / Jira suite of products
- Strong problemsolving skills
ROLE:
- Technical design of new solutions
- New ABAP and SAPUI5 developments relating to the product costing system
- Creation and interpretation of technical documentation
- Understanding & interpreting business requirements
- Assure quality of design test cases
- Regular alignment with stakeholders and product owners
- Support & maintenance of existing and new applications/systems
- Responsible for the entire software lifecycle from design customizing testing go live and operate
- Regular travel to meet our counterparts in various markets when applicable
- Flexible and dynamic to meet the various challenges/opportunities to allow the team to meet its targets and deliverables
