Answer customer calls Provide prompt and courteous service to callers. Be knowledgeable of PMC & CVC codes as it relates to Parking Enforcement.
Monitor and answer Parking Enforcement related Customer Service Center (CSC) requests
Dispatch Officers Relay calls for service to the nearest available officer. The Office Assistant must learn basic radio codes and the phonetic alphabet.
Basic administrative duties Complete CHP 180 forms mail the notices and file the electronic copies. Maintain Excel spreadsheets. Scan paper logs and file them appropriately. Prepare calendars for tow rotation street cleaning and distribute them.
Complete vehicle registration requests Must obtain CLETS certification. Once certified expected to field and answer verification requests from officers in a prompt fashion.
Must have basic proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook. Spanish as a 2nd language is highly desirable.
