SQL Server Developer

Our company has a client that is seeking a SQL Server Developer in Weston FL.

This is a contract to hire position Responsibilities:

• SQL Server Developer will construct update and oversee SQL Server databases encompassing the creation of tables views and stored procedures that are instrumental to application functionality
• Showcase advanced TSQL skills by formulating intricate queries that retrieve and manipulate data with precision
• Enhance query performance by using techniques such as indexing query plan analysis and query rewriting
• Collaborate closely with fellow developers to ensure seamless integration of databases with applications using linked servers to connect disparate data sources
• Translate business requirements into tangible database structures working collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to deliver optimal solutions
• Proactively identify and resolve database performance issues employing skills in query tuning and optimization
• Develop comprehensive documentation outlining database design data dictionaries and essential functional elements like stored procedures views and functions
• As a SQL Server Developer you will utilize SSIS to facilitate efficient data movement transformation and integration across diverse data stores
• Harness the power of SSRS to design maintain and evolve insightful reports that provide a clear view of critical business data
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in SQL Server tools and methodologies and apply best practices to maintain robust database systems
• Participate in code reviews offering valuable insights to enhance code quality and efficiency
• Strategically plan database structures that accommodate growth and scalability ensuring ongoing performance

Required Skills : * Minimum 8 years of experience working as a MS SQL Developer * Proficiency in SQL Server including mastery of advanced TSQL scripting with a deep understanding of window functions grouping and aggregate functions * Familiarity with dynamic queries demonstrating your ability to build adaptable and responsive data retrieval processes * Experience in employing linked servers to seamlessly access data across different environments * Proven track record in query optimization showcasing expertise in techniques like query plan analysis and index optimization * Experience with SSIS showcasing your ability to create efficient data movement and transformation solutions * Proficiency in using SSRS to design impactful reports that present key insights with clarity * Understanding of database security measures to ensure data integrity and protection * Strong problemsolving skills and meticulous attention to detail essential for diagnosing and rectifying complex issues * Collaborative team player capable of multitasking in a fastpaced environment
