Bon Secours Mercy Health St. Rita Medical Center is seeking temporary TraumaSurgery Physician coverage!
Dates of coverage: ASAP to 4/30/25 initial term possible extension
Reason for Coverage: Maintain 24/7 trauma call coverage
Practice Setting: Hospital Call
Call Ratio: 1:4
Average Number of Trauma Surgical Cases Per Day: Average of 3 activations per day (level 1 level 2 consults) 3% operative
Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2 adult
Annual ER Volume: 57000
Percent (%) of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital: 24%
Number of ED Beds: 40
Total Number of Beds: Licensed for 378
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Patient Age Demographic: < 1% neonate 3.7% child 3.9% adolescent 36.5% adult 55.8% geriatric

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 DAYS
Travel Reimbursement Information:
- Lodging: xx150/night
- All other bookings approve for standard/economy rates
Requirement description :

- Board Certified (American Board of Medical Specialties American Osteopathic Association or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada) Required
- Active OH license & DEA Required no exceptions will NOT accept those willing to obtain
- BLS ACLS ATLS PALS Certified Required
- Training or Experience Required (Must have previous experience in trauma. Will not accept new grads)
