Role Overview
As a Hardware Validation Engineer you will play a critical role in silicon power testing for cuttingedge AI silicon. This position provides handson experience with Python scripting advanced lab equipment like oscilloscopes and power measurement tools while collaborating on nextgeneration AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Pythonbased scripts for test automation and data analysis.
- Perform silicon power testing and network analysis to validate hardware performance.
- Utilize advanced oscilloscopes and power measurement tools to collect and analyze test data.
- Conduct power analysis at the SoC/system level to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Debug and triage postsilicon issues collaborating closely with crossfunctional engineering teams.
- Analyze powerperformance tradeoffs and develop insights for improvement.
- Automate and execute test cases for servers mobile devices or custom hardware.
Experience:
- 810 years of experience in hardware validation or related fields.
- 5 years experience in:
- Silicon power testing
- Python scripting for test automation and data analysis
- Oscilloscopes and other lab equipment for hardware validation
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with SoC/systemlevel power analysis.
- Understanding of ML/AI workloads and their power implications.
- Handson experience with test automation tools and hardware validation processes.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and debugging postsilicon hardware issues.
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or related technical fields.
