Job Description
- Developing strategies: Developing and implementing strategies to reduce delinquency and optimize collections
- Managing the team: Supervising and motivating the collections team
- Negotiating: Negotiating payment arrangements with customers
- Reviewing: Reviewing and updating collection policies and procedures
- Reporting: Generating reports on debt aging and collections performance
- Collaborating: Collaborating with legal and compliance teams on legal actions
- Communicating: Communicating with customers regarding their outstanding debts
- Analyzing: Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the collections team
- Researching: Researching developing and facilitating collection procedures according to company policies
- Recommending: Recommending legal action for specific accounts and following through as necessary
- Initiating: Initiating repossession steps when authorized
- Ensuring: Ensuring the security and privacy of customer information and files
