Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detailoriented Business Systems Analyst to join a Randstad client in Washington DC. In this role you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by gathering analyzing and documenting client requirements for business processes. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop solutions that align with business strategies support testing and validation activities and ensure project deliverables meet organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills effective communication abilities and a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Gather document and analyze business requirements for low to moderately complex processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals.
- Develop detailed requirements documentation including functional specifications and use cases.
- Support user acceptance testing by documenting test cases and validating results.
- Assist in the creation of user manuals and provide training to end users as needed.
- Investigate and resolve issues escalating them when necessary.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases and presentations for project proposals.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies controls and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of related work experience in business systems analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Visio PowerPoint) and familiarity with tools like SharePoint.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Experience with enterprise applications (e.g. SAP Ariba) or distributed systems (e.g. POS systems ecommerce platforms) is preferred.
- Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and certifications (e.g. CBAP) is a plus.
