Job Description
Job Summary:
The Steward is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and organization in the restaurants dining and service areas. They assist waitstaff in delivering food and beverages manage table settings and provide guests with an enjoyable dining experience. They also perform essential tasks such as cleaning restocking and maintaining kitchen and dining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Table Setup and Maintenance:
- Set and clear tables as per restaurant standards.
- Ensure tables are clean properly arranged and ready for service.
- Replenish table settings (napkins condiments etc.) during service.

Assisting Waitstaff:
- Support waitstaff by bringing food and drinks from the kitchen to customers.
- Clear dirty dishes from tables promptly and efficiently.
- Refill water glasses and attend to guest needs during the meal.

Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas restrooms and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure that all equipment silverware and glasses are cleaned and sanitized.
- Follow health and safety standards regarding food and beverage handling.

Restocking Supplies:
- Monitor inventory levels of dining and kitchen supplies and inform management when restocking is needed.
- Assist in stocking items in the kitchen and dining area as required.

Customer Service:
- Greet guests and assist them with any requests they may have.
- Maintain a professional and polite demeanor when interacting with guests.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with chefs cooks and other staff members to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in other tasks as needed to support the team.
