Job Description
Title: Workday Prism Analytics Developer
Location: Reston VA (Hybrid onsite Once or twice a week)

- The manager works in the Workday financial area Security treasure under Multifamily accounts.
- All this accounting information is in Workday today and we went live with Workday financial in Jan 2022. Since then we have been running in production in Workday.
- All the accounting areas use two main modules Accounting Centre and Prism Analytics. Prism is the backbone of the Accounting Centre module.
- Looking for strong Prism development experience main requirement.
- Someone who knows Workday Core ERPs and getting the Core ERP.
- The data volume in the Core ERP and regular financial modules is very less but what we do here in the Accounting side is we load millions of data into Prism Analytics which differentiates Fannie Mae from other clients on the Workday platform. Not a lot of clients do this level of data load into Workday.
- The complexities that come around data volume make sure when you stop loading these millions of data into Workday Prism Analytics you dont run into performance issues because the securities accounting is daily accounting. Thats where it makes it different from the other places where you see Prism processing.
- Good understanding of Prism Pipeline Development work along with some Accounting and Financial data understanding should be able to pick this up quickly.
- Basic understanding of how Prism Security/Configurations works when you build a pipeline in the Prism how do you migrate this pipeline from one tenant to another tenant setting some accesses around Prism along with handson Prism Pipeline Development experience.
- Workday certification is not mandatory. Prism Analytics certification will help.
- There is a third party vendor called Credly who tied up with Workday for certifications. A resume with Workday certifications must also have the link from Credly.
- Someone who has worked on the HCM side if not on the financial side and has good experience with Prism can be considered.
- Hybrid onsite: 1 or 2 days a week onsite in Reston VA. Tuesday and Wednesday
- Workday Prism Analytics experience: 4 5 years Overall experience: 10 years
- Nonlocal candidates can be considered as long as they are coming to the office once or twice a week in Reston VA.
Job Description
- This specific role will be a workday developer specializing in Prism. All data is loaded into Workday. This is a complex role so understanding of Workday is a must along with knowledge of Prism. The candidate should be able to understand the programs and work independently. Develop and maintain financial software applications. Work closely with the finance team to understand their needs and translate them into functional software. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency. Identify prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products. 10years.
- 10 years of experience in Finance ERP/Accounting systems development with at least 4 years of experience on Workday platform with focus on Prism Analytics pipeline development.
- Experience with Workday Financials specifically on the Accounting Center component.
- Candidate should have experience in designing building testing and deploying Workday Integration solutions using EIB Core Connectors Cloud Connect and Workday Studio
- Ability to help resolve integration issues requiring in depth expertise in the Workday solution
- Experience with Workday implementation and/or postproduction support including Prism Analytics Studio Integrations and data analysis.
- Understanding of Workday Security
- Excellent problemsolving skills and strong verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
